Pet Friendly Places/Events to Visit in College Station
The Corner Bar & Rooftop Grill – they allow pets on their patio and on their rooftop just head up the stairs! Once a month they even host the “Ugliest Dog Competition” Of which Sebastian was the first ever winner!
New Republic Brewery – Their events are hosted at their warehouse (dogs are allowed inside it). Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy live music, good beer, and on occasion a delicious food truck. There is talk of fencing off the back lawn so dogs can be off leash!
Wiggles and Wags – if you are looking for a place to get your pooch groomed this is it. I have been going here for about 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Sebastian always gets great reports (although I’m not sure how true they are). If you need another reason, Texas A&M’s mascot Reveille is groomed here (talk about one spoiled dog!!) AND they usually come out being a lot cheaper and look a lot better than your neighborhood Petsmart Groomer.
Steeplechase Dog Park (off-leash) 301 Westridge Drive – This dog park is known for its community. Become a regular and you will soon know all the dogs and owners. However it is not shaded and is just an open field for dogs to run around in, BUT no water to get into trouble with.
University Dog Park (off-leash) 300 Park Road – The biggest dog park in College Station. This park separates into a small & large dog park. Be aware for those water lovers that there is a small pond in the back of the park. This park is full of shade and places to sit, and even has a dog obsticale/playground
